This halogen-free power cable wired by concentric layers is composed of a flexible polished copper conductor class 5 according to UNE EN 60228 and an insulation of cross-linked polyethylene DIX-3 (XLPE) according to UNE 21123-4 and an outer sheath of thermoplastic Polyolefin according to UNE EN 21123-4. It is indicated for local installations where a low emission of smoke and corrosive gases is required in case of fire, such as public places. It is also suitable for the transport and distribution of electrical energy in fixed installations, protected or not, as well as interior and exterior installations. (If the cover is black, if it is not black it must have UV additive). Other applications are on supports in the air, in tubes or buried. It is important to note that its use is not suitable for submerged pump supply installations. The operating voltage is 600/1,000V, the test voltage is 3,500V. The temperature range is from -15 to 90 ºC.
